Summer Beauty Giveaway

In honor of hitting 500 Twitter followers (and also just because I wanted to have a giveaway for readers of my blog), I’m hosting my first ever giveaway! I’ve chosen three of my favorite drugstore beauty products for summer to share with one lucky winner. The items included are:

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray (Ultra Strong)- I’ve tried a bunch of different hairsprays-ranging from affordable drugstore buys to the more expensive brands that are only found in special stores- and Garnier’s formulas always come out on top. This hairspray is perfect for summer with its anti-humidity properties, lightweight feel and non-greasy look. I love the smaller spray bottle design- perfect for throwing in your beach or work bag for touch-ups.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in “Cherry Me”- As someone who has tried every chapstick under the sun, Baby Lips is a top contender. This tinted balm boasts “8 hour moisture”, while “94% of people reported as having less rough lips”.* This light red shade is the perfect alternative to a heavy lipstick or stain which most women shy away from during the hot months. Color Club Nail Polish in “Koo Koo Cachoo”- Summer is the time for neon nail polish, and this bright orange shade is perfect for your toes or your nails (if you’re feeling adventurous!)

I tried something new and very out of my comfort zone, in June I finished a 4 mile military obstacle course race full of mud. Sort of like the Warrior Dash but on a lesser scale. It was so much fun I can’t wait for next year.
