In my opinion, cobalt is a color that looks good on almost everyone. I’m a bit on the pale side (it isn’t summer anymore!) so I try to find shades that don’t completely wash me out, and cobalt seems to flatter lighter skin tones just as well as darker ones. This lace Oasap dress is so versatile. It doesn’t reveal too much (aka, it’s work-appropriate), is dressy enough for a get-together and is super comfortable and simple. And it fits, which rarely happens when I order something off the internet without trying it on.
I paired it with bare legs and booties for the time being, but plan on throwing on a blazer or leather jacket to transition it when the weather gets a little cooler. I put on a berry/plum lip so the look seemed more “fall”. How cliche. And for you girls who suffer from “skinny wrist syndrome” like myself, check out Alyssa‘s Etsy shop– she makes bracelets to fit small wrists. She so kindly sent over one of her silver textured link bracelets after she saw a tweet of mine complaining about being able to find bracelets that fit. What a gem she is.
