Flannel Love

One of the many things people associate me with-in addition to my blog, cats, squirrels, chocolate and sarcasm-is my love for flannel. I have too many flannel shirts to count in my wardrobe. For my 21st birthday, three of my friends even wore flannel in my honor!

Flannel shirts look great on almost every body type and there are so many patterns and colors to choose from, so it’s very versatile. You can even make flannel look both dressy and casual, I promise! Here are some of my favorite flannel shirt picks:

  1. ooh I really love the green flannel shirt from A&F! I don’t own enough so I might just need to add a bit to my wardrobe 🙂

  2. I don’t think I own a single flannel piece. Maybe because I always feel like I will get to hot in it. But I know they make light flannel shirts now. I love the 2nd and 3rd one!

    1. I typically like the checkered ones instead of plaid, but I have some of both. The checkered ones are usually one color and then black/dark grey- try those out.

  3. I’m currently in a flannel obsession phase! Love how your friends wore it to your bday! My fave is The Abercrombie one!

  4. Love the Target and J.Crew flannels! Flannels are an essential part of my fall/winter wardrobe and the colors and styles are endless so in my opinion you can never have too many. I guess the important question to ask is, which one are you buying??

  5. I absolutely adore the look of flannels but it’s something I can’t pull off because of the proportions of my chest! I always have that awkward large gap between the buttons on the chest or they just don’t usually fit my right at all. But they are so perfect for fall and for layering!

  6. I totally agree with you – I own too many! I think it’s such an easy shirt and you can even jazz it up, funk it up, whatever you like! Love what your friends did on your 21st.
