Copycat: Kate Bosworth

Kate Bosworth is one of my favorite beauty icons. She has perfect skin, great bone structure and looks young for her age. As someone who looks 18 herself, I can appreciate this. She always sticks to neutral, yet pretty makeup and has glowing skin- something we all aspire to have. Here’s how to steal her look (makeup and hair).

Get Kate Bosworth’s Makeup

To start off, apply a moisturizing base, like Dior Diorskin Nude BB Creme to the skin. Forget the powder or cakey concealer- you want the face to have an even, smooth finish. Next, we focus on the eyes. Did you know Kate has two different colored eyes? Cool, right? To amp up your natural lashes, apply a mascara that doesn’t clump, like Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. Yes, I know it’s a mascara made for bottom lashes, but it will separate each lash section better than some of the clumpier versions for the top lashes. Define your full brows (resist the urge to pluck) with a tinted gel, like Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara. Finish off the look with a burst of color- the pinky-fuchsia of Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in “Melted Candy” adds rich color and moisture.

Get Kate Bosworth’s Hair

To get Kate’s hair, rough dry with a blow dryer until hair is dry. Then apply a texturizer and dry shampoo, like Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1, all over hair. Using a teasing brush, like the Sephora Collection Bump: Boar Teaser, tease the crown of your hair until a small bump forms. Then gather hair into a low ponytail on one side of your hair and secure with a clear elastic. Leave out a few wisps of hair in the front if you please.

  1. Her brows are always SO PERFECT! I know that she probably has an entire brow team behind her but I really can’t get over how good they always are!

  2. I’ve been growing out my brows now foreverrrr and the words “resist the urge to pluck” have never been more real! Who knew they made a mascara just for your bottom lashes?
