Lazy Summer Days with Palm Breeze

Summers are the busiest season for me — and maybe for you, too. Between bridal showers, weddings, celebrations and trips to the beach (although I have yet to find the time to enjoy the last event), there’s little time to have a chill weekend. When I do find those rare free days, I like to basically hang out, eat, and drink. But who doesn’t?

Last weekend I spent the day outside getting some sun, reading a new book, and enjoying a snack with my Palm Breeze sparkling alcohol spritz. I plan on doing the exact same thing this weekend, in between running errands, wedding planning and cleaning my apartment.

But back to the yummy drink. Palm Breeze sparkling alcohol spritz comes in two tropical flavors, Ruby Red Citrus (the one I picked up) and Pineapple Mandarin Orange. I wanted to try both, since I’m a big fan of both pineapple and grapefruit flavors, but my local beverage store only had the grapefruit one. #firstworldproblems, I know. Palm Breeze is a flavored malt beverage, which basically means it’s an alcoholic drink made with a malt base, kind of like beer. And the cool part is that it’s the first drink that is unabashedly targeting women. Palm Breeze is for those who are: spontaneous, carefree, confident, social & stylish; loves to spend her free time hanging with her girlfriends; loves to travel, enjoys outdoor activities and tries to soak up the sun.

For those who don’t enjoy malt beverages, or prefer something a bit stronger, you can easily mix it with a neutral liquor, like vodka. Palm Breeze itself is perfect for a daytime drink, but for night you might want something a bit heavier, and this simple cocktail does the trick.
