Over the past few years, I’ve noticed the uptick in one-piece bathing suits. They’re featured heavily in magazine spreads, on the homepage of Target (where I buy many of my bathing suits), and even on super models. Gasp! I never really enjoyed one-piece bathing suits until recently, when I started to gain weight in my stomach. Now one-piece bathing suits are something I actively look for when buying a new swimsuit.
Sure, some are a bit aging (I’m not going to cover up my entire ass while it still looks good, for example), but the styles brands have been putting out over the past few years are really fashionable. I personally love scallops, cut-outs, and ruffles on mine. Here are a few — all from ASOS, coincidentally — of my favorites. What are your thoughts on one-piece bathing suits?
