June Beauty Favorites

I haven’t done one of these in a while, but I used to post a monthly series where I rounded up my favorite beauty, hair, and skincare products. Whether it’s a product I purchased on my own or a free sample I got with my recent Sephora order, here are my June beauty favorites.

Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Oil-Free Gel Cream Moisturizer – I know everyone is obsessed with the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, but this cream moisturizer might be my favorite product of theirs. The texture is very light and airy and dries down quickly so I don’t feel like it’s sitting heavy on my face all day. Plus it has hyaluronic acid for plumping hydration.

L’Oréal Elvive 8 Second Wonder Water Lamellar Rinse – I purchased this a few months back after seeing a TikTok or Instagram story on this magical product and I’m so glad I did. What drew me to it was the price — if it ended up being a bust, then I only spent $12 on it so it wasn’t a huge waste. I use it once a week on my ends only. It’s so fast to use (after all, the name says it’s a 8 second rinse) so I find myself actually doing it vs. it taking up space in my shower going unused. After using it, my ends feel noticeably softer and shinier.

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – I delayed trying this product due to the price, but I’m glad I finally splurged. You can use it all over or just in the areas where you’d apply highlighter — I do both depending on how much “glow” I want. This is my go-to for days when I just want a light base without wearing full-on foundation and concealer. I’ve heard there is an elf dupe that I’m dying to try too to see how it compares to this one.

AmLactin Daily Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin – My body skin (that sounds weird, but I mean the skin not on my face…) is pretty decent, but one problem I often have is irritation from razor burn, summer sweat, or crazy changes in weather. When this happens, I need to swap out my regular body moisturizer for something heavier. This lotion has lactic acid to exfoliate and works wonders on any bumps or redness. This was actually a game-changer when I was having crazy night sweats postpartum and my legs were breaking out from the sweating. Sexy, I know…

VegaMour Hydr-8 Leave-in Conditioner – I tend to stay away from leave-in conditioners because they really weigh down my hair and leave it looking greasy, but this product is the exception! The product is lightweight, helps shape and hold my natural waves, and smells divine (not in the overly-scented way that gives you a headache, either). Plus, it’s vegan (if that matters to you!)

Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush – This may be my new go-to blush formula. I’m usually not a cream blush girl, but this has me converted. All it takes is the tiniest dab of this product and you have a long-lasting wash of color on your cheeks. (Seriously, be careful as a little goes a long way!) I bought the shade Joy, which is a dewy muted peach, and am planning which shade to try next to add to my collection.

Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Magnet Extreme Lengthening Mascara – I received a sample of this with my recent Sephora order and really loved it. It’s not super voluminous, but it really lengthens and separates your lashes for the ultimate definition. My one caveat with Benefit mascaras is that they are so difficult to remove for me for some reason. But I put that aside since they wear so well and don’t budge during the day.
