4 Accessory Brands to Know from Shopbop

There are two primary ways that I learn of new jewelry brands — targeted Instagram ads and browsing retailers like Shopbop, which consolidate pieces from hundreds of unique brands. The following accessory brands were featured heavily on Shopbop during my last browsing session, so I wanted to share in the hopes some of these were new-to-you. While I already was aware of Lele Sadoughi and have covered some Brinker & Eliza pieces in a previous 90’s jewelry trend round-up, the others I wasn’t as familiar with.

Here are 4 accessory brands you should know about, most with pieces $100 or under.

Lele Sadoughi

Most people associate Lele Sadoughi with their infamous chunky headbands that are often imitated. But they also design other hair accessories (hats, hair clips, etc.) and jewelry. One word to describe her pieces is “joyful” — there’s a ton of color, girly details, and fun shapes. Most pieces have fun embellishments, ranging from applique flowers to chunky pearls or gems. Let’s put it this way — if you don’t want compliments or attention, Lele isn’t the brand for you.

Brinker + Eliza

Brinker + Eliza is a jewelry brand designed by a mother/daughter team (the mother is a trained metalsmith and the daughter worked in fashion merchandising). They self-describe their jewelry as for “someone who puts jewelry on to run errands ‘“’because why not'”.

What I love about their pieces are the various heart elements, the luxe look of the metals and stones, and the fun shapes that are a nice alternative to simple, everyday hoops. I just wish they carried more silver pieces!

Adina Eden

Adina Eden was created in 2015 and is designed by Brooklyn-based Adina, the designer. Their demi-find jewelry collections are classic with a trend-forward twist, making them a favorite of celebrities and normal women like us alike. I love the mix of classic and trendy pieces, and how they’re offered in multiple metal options. She also has a ton of personalized pieces, which is very on-trend right now.

Maison Irem

Maison Irem was founded in 2013 by Mediterranean-born Amsterdam-based designer Irem Sesigur. Her pieces feature notable elements like chains, layers, coins, and colorful semi-precious stones. It’s the type of jewelry that the cool girl wears that you think you can’t pull off (but you totally can…)
