Gifts for Your Office BFF
When you think about it, we spend more time with our co-workers than we do with some of our friends or family members. Kind of wild, right? So it’s no surprise that many of us end up buying a holiday gift for our office BFF.
When I get gifts for my co-workers, I tend to stick to two groups: practical and humorous. In the practical category are things they’ll use everyday at their desk or during work: things like a Stanley water cup to stay hydrated, daily affirmation cards or a daily calendar for their desk, a cute notebook or computer mouse, or a fun stress ball. In the humorous category are things that are nods to the daily grind we all face: a “no” button, an adult coloring book, an emotional support pickle, and items with work jargon or sayings on them (like the cute socks or corporate jargon generator below).
If all else fails, go for consumables (assuming you know enough about their caffeine/alcohol habits and food allergies — not everyone drinks alcohol or coffee and many people are allergic to nuts): coffee, tea, wine, candy, and chocolates are all easy options. Go for a more luxe brand so the consumable has a fancy feeling to them (skip the Dollar Store purchases for this one!)
