Everyone raves about fall fashion, but I tend to spend the most money buying new items for summer. Anyone else? Maybe it’s because I have more events (vacations, get-togethers, date nights) when the weather is warmer, so there is more shopping to do? Who knows.

J Crew Factory Summer Finds

J Crew Factory makes great swimsuits and summer dresses — I’ve owned many over the years and they hold up for a few years. This year, I’m loving the beachy motifs, pretty patterns, and simple accessories.

Bold summer colors and coastal accents are seen across Loft’s summer clothing and accessory arrivals. With just the pieces below, I could dress myself for a short beach vacation!

J Crew Summer Finds

J Crew’s summer pieces can be described as a fresh, vintage-inspired summer aesthetic. The focus on comfort, natural textures, and playful femininity mean these pieces will likely be in style year after year.

Abercrombie Summer Finds

Sometimes I feel like a grandma walking into Abercrombie because I’m surrounded by fit 20-somethings in their baggy jeans. But since my style can be pretty youthful overall, I gravitate towards that youthful vibe (especially during summer when I can get away with it more). I’m loving the cut-outs and tie details on their summer pieces.

Anthropologie Summer Finds

Anthro’s summer pieces are — as always — whimsical, playful, and retro-inspired. Big trends this year are fruits and drinks, embroidery, “retro resort” style, flowy silhouettes, and scallop-cut hems.

Shopbop has so many summer pieces that it’s hard to narrow it down (but I tried!) I’m loving all the floral and fish accents and crochet among their selection of women’s clothes and accessories.
